Opens Tuesday, September 15 · 8:00am

On the 15th, your pet can run for mayor.

Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead and Horace each elect a nominee. Then the four nominees run against each other for Mayor of the Red River Valley. There’s a gavel. There’s a sash. Voting opens Friday the 18th, so an early entry is three days of a head start on telling people.

Here’s what they get. A photo and four campaign promises — up to five photos if you have them — and within minutes a poster with their face on it.

We’d like your email, because on the 18th we’d like to send you this:

That’s the message. One email on the morning of the 18th so you can enter before anyone else. After that, only about your own pet.

Free to enter, free to vote, nothing to buy. Adopt from a partner shelter between September 18 and October 17 and Novel puts $100 toward the adoption fee. See who’s waiting →
